The Pataleshwar Temple's gate and the Rly Station's refurbishment have been approved by the heritage committee

The proposal for the preservation of the Railway Station Building and rehabilitation of the Pataleshwar Temple, Mahal, here was approved by the Nagpur Heritage Committee. The recommendations were approved following a thorough examination of the problems. On Thursday, the Committee and the City Planning Department met in the main office of the Nagpur Municipal Corporation. The attendees included the architect Ashokl Mokha, the member of the heritage committee Pramod Gawande, Shubha Jouhari, the executive engineer of the Nagpur Improvement Trust Meghrajani, the Indian Railways' APS Gill, the Income Tax Department's R B Joshi, and the architect Ashokl Mokha.

The Rail Land Development Agency is renovating the Nagpur Railway Station building, which is a historic structure. Central Railways is the owner of the Grade-II historic Railway Station Building. The Heritage Committee also approved the plan for the Pataleshwar Temple's gate refurbishment, which is being handled by NMC. The Pataleshwar Temple is a Grade-I Heritage building.

It is intended to demolish bungalows 43-A and 43-B belonging to the Income Tax Department and erect a new structure in their place. Both of the homes beneath Seminary Hill are historic buildings. According to a news release posted here, the Heritage Committee has approved the bungalows' repair.
