The Vande Bharat Express will now depart from Platform 8, making it easier for the passengers to travel
Travellers can breathe easier now that the Nagpur-Bilaspur Vande Bharat Express is running from Platform No. 8, which is located on the east side of Nagpur Railway Station. Passengers and the South East Central Railway Zonal Railway Users Consultative Committee (ZRUCC) had been requesting this adjustment for a long time.
Previously, the train left from Platform No. 7, which was inconvenient for passengers because it lacked basic amenities and catering services. Vijay Dhawale of ZRUCC actively promoted a switch to a more appropriate platform after becoming aware of these worries. The railway authorities quickly intervened to fix the problem.
Passengers aboard the Vande Bharat Express should notice a considerable improvement in their travel experience as a result of the move to Platform No. 8. This platform provides all the amenities required for a hassle-free trip, including culinary services, waiting areas, and passenger support.
Due to Platform No. 8's convenient access to the Vande Bharat Express, passengers may now enjoy a seamless boarding experience. This modification increases both traveller convenience and the effectiveness of train operations at Nagpur Railway Station. After meeting with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on May 16, a team lead by former MP Dr. Vikas Mahatme made the decision to switch platforms. The train was moved to its new home station the very next day after the minister quickly allayed their worries.
