The Village Cafe's hookah parlor was raided in Shivaji Nagar
In Shivaji Nagar, close to the basketball court, Ambazaari Police conducted a raid and busted a hookah parlor operating out of The Village Cafe.
Ayush Gedam (20), a hookah provider, and Praveen Vinod (24), a Sadar resident, as well as the alleged owner, Ganesh Suresh Lalwani (29), a resident of Khamla, manager Vikky Dilip Sadwani (24), and a resident of Sindhi Colony, Khamla, have all been charged by the police.
Police sources claim that while an Ambazari Police team was on patrol, they received information about a hookah parlour in Shivaji Nagar that was operating under the pretense of a cafe. Following up on the tip, the police quickly searched the location and discovered that the manager and owner of The Village Cafe were hookah-serving customers.
