Theft Strikes Shani Dham Temple in Narendra Nagar: Suspect Apprehended
Residents in Narendra Nagar were shocked by news of theft at the revered Shani Dham temple. On February 21, a donation box containing around Rs 30,000 was stolen, prompting a swift response from law enforcement.
The suspect, Sarvesh alias Ayush Sushil Ramteke, aged 19 and residing in Ramteke Nagar, was swiftly apprehended by Beltarodi Police. The theft occurred when Sarvesh forcefully entered the temple premises by breaking the door lock. Another donation box was also stolen during the incident.
The police registered a case of burglary and initiated a thorough investigation. Through their diligent efforts, they identified and arrested Sarvesh. During the arrest, they recovered one stolen donation box and Rs 12,500 in cash from him.
Further investigation revealed Sarvesh's involvement in two additional burglaries and a robbery case. The successful apprehension of the suspect was credited to the efforts of Senior Police Inspector Mukunda Kawade and his team.
