Three People, Including 16-Year-Old, Killed in Separate Road Accidents in Nagpur

Three individuals, including a 16-year-old boy, tragically lost their lives in separate road accidents on Tuesday evening under the jurisdictions of Shanti Nagar, Kapil Nagar, and Beltarodi police stations.

Teenager Killed in Shanti Nagar Collision

The first incident occurred in the Shanti Nagar area when a 16-year-old boy, Kartik Vilas Marode, was fatally injured after a speeding auto-rickshaw hit the two-wheeler he was riding on. Kartik and his friend, 19-year-old Pranay Mukesh Dolas, were on their way to Sunil Hotel in Lakadganj when the accident happened around 8:45 pm near Itwari railway station. The auto-rickshaw, driven by a drunken driver, struck their motorcycle from behind, causing both riders to fall onto the road. While Pranay sustained injuries, Kartik succumbed to his injuries after being rushed to the hospital. Shanti Nagar Police have filed a case under BNS and MVA provisions.

Civil Contractor Dies in Kapil Nagar

In another tragic incident, 42-year-old civil contractor Sanjay Ghanshyam Parashar was killed when a truck collided with the two-wheeler he was riding on as a pillion. Sanjay and Mason Rajesh Lanjewar were travelling through the Khasala turning in the Kapil Nagar area at around 7:30 pm when a speeding truck came from the opposite direction and struck them. Both riders fell and sustained serious injuries. Sanjay was declared dead at the hospital. Kapil Nagar Police have arrested the truck driver, Liladhar Soniram Puram, and registered a case.

Man Killed in Chinchbhavan

A 46-year-old man, Nimesh Sukhdayal Arya, was killed in a road accident in Chinchbhavan under the Beltarodi Police Station. Arya was riding his scooter on the service road at around 11:20 pm when an unidentified vehicle hit him. He fell onto the road, suffered severe injuries, and was declared dead after being rushed to the hospital. The Beltarodi Police have initiated an investigation.

The three separate accidents highlight the continuing dangers on Nagpur’s roads as police continue to investigate each case.
