Tiger Found Dead in Paddy Field Near Nagpur, Investigation Underway
Nagpur, India: On Tuesday, a male tiger was discovered dead in a paddy field owned by Prakash Ambatkar in the Patgowari round beat, near Kanhan, in the Ramtek area. Senior forest department officials promptly arrived at the scene after receiving the report.
Following the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) guidelines, officials conducted a site inspection and completed the necessary documentation. The tiger's carcass was then sent to the Transit Treatment Centre (TTC) for a post-mortem examination.
An investigation has been launched to determine if there were any suspicious circumstances surrounding the tiger's death. The exact cause will be known after the post-mortem report, scheduled for 10 a.m. tomorrow, is obtained. Further details will be revealed following the forensic analysis and a thorough inquiry.
