Nagpur, India: Nagpur Traffic Police have launched a new service called ‘Traffic Mitra’ to help people report traffic problems through WhatsApp. Citizens can send complaints to 8976897698 by sharing messages, photos, and locations.
People can report issues like traffic jams, accidents, illegal parking, and rule violations. The complaints will go to the Nagpur Police Control Room for quick action.
Police have asked citizens to send clear photos, correct locations, and the time of incidents to help solve problems faster.
The WhatsApp number is only for traffic complaints and cannot be used for calls or other questions. Police encourage people to use this service to improve traffic in Nagpur.
