Tragic: Car Crushes 9 Sleeping Workers Near Dighori Naka; 2 Dead
In a tragic incident, nine workers sleeping on a footpath near Dighori Naka in Nagpur were run over by an uncontrolled car late Sunday night. Two of the workers, including a child, lost their lives, while seven others sustained serious injuries.
The horrifying event occurred around midnight when a car, driven recklessly, veered onto the footpath where the workers were sleeping. In an attempt to flee the scene, the driver moved the car back and forth, exacerbating the injuries of the victims.
The incident took place within the jurisdiction of Wathoda Police Station. Prompt action by the Wathoda Police led to the swift arrest of the accused driver.
