Truck Carrying Sugar Catches Fire on Pardi Road in Nagpur
Nagpur, India: A truck carrying sugar caught fire suddenly in front of Arya Motor on Bhandara Road in Nagpur’s Pardi area on Monday night around 9 pm.
The fire completely engulfed the driver's cabin, the truck’s engine, and the tarpaulin-covered with sugar at the back of the vehicle. The flames spread quickly, causing significant damage to the truck.
The Kalmana Fire Station responded swiftly, reaching the scene shortly after receiving the alarm. The fire was brought under control before it could spread further, with a second fire engine from Lakadganj Fire Station arriving to assist.
Initial investigations suggest that the fire was caused by a short circuit in the truck's wiring. Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries, and the fire was contained without further incident.
