Two Drug Dealers Arrested in Kalamna Nagpur with 20.75 Kg Ganja Worth Rs 3.75 Lakh
Nagpur, India: The Social Security Branch (SSB) of the City Police arrested two drug dealers in the Kalamna area during the early hours of November 9. They confiscated marijuana (ganja) worth Rs 3,75,500 and two mobile phones valued at Rs 25,000 from the suspects.
The individuals arrested have been identified as Mohammad Aslam Mohammad Munwar (41) from Kawrapeth and Mohammad Faizal Mohammad Afzal (34) from Mumbra, Thane district.
Following a tip-off, SSB officers stopped the two accused near the compound wall of the NIT Hot Mix Plant close to Chikhli Chowk. Upon searching them, the police discovered 20.750 kilograms of marijuana and two mobile phones.
During interrogation, Mohammad Aslam and Mohammad Faizal revealed that they were running the illegal drug operation with the help of two individuals, Manish and Ameena. A case has been filed against them under Sections 8(c), 22(c), and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
The arrests were made by PI Kavita Isarkar, API Nannaware, and other officers under the guidance of senior police officials.
