Sachin was returning home on his moped with his aunt after delivering food to his wife, who had just given birth at Oneway Hospital. As they were riding on their moped (MH-36/AM-1176), a Swift Dzire car (CG04/NH-6515) driven by 23-year-old Shankar Kishor Jaiswani from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, collided with them. The sudden deaths of Vijaya and Sachin have left their family and community in deep shock. Sachin, who was known for being caring and responsible, was especially excited about the recent birth of his child.
The news of the accident quickly spread, and thousands of villagers from Hamlapuri and nearby areas rushed to the Sub-District Hospital, where the bodies were taken for postmortem. Ramtek Police have registered a case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder against the driver, Shankar Kishor Jaiswani. The investigation is ongoing, led by PI Prashant Kale.
