Two Men Injured in Brutal Attack Over Pandal Dispute in Hasanbagh, Nagpur
Nagpur, India: A disagreement over setting up a pandal in Hasanbagh turned violent, leaving two men injured. The police have arrested two people and are questioning a minor involved in the attack.
The incident happened near Shivaji Society, Vrundavan Nagar. Feroze Akhtar Abdul Salim (41), a plastic goods trader, got into an argument when a minor and his friends started putting up a pandal for Tajuddin Baba’s birth anniversary near his house on January 25. The pandal blocked the entrance to Feroze’s home, and when he objected, a heated argument followed. However, he did not file a police complaint at the time.
On Monday, the dispute took a violent turn. Sohail Khan Samsher Khan (18) and the minor allegedly broke into Feroze’s house with knives. When Feroze’s younger brother, Ejaz, tried to stop them, he was stabbed.
Feroze later filed a police complaint, leading to the arrest of Samsher Khan Shamad Khan (55) and Sohail Khan Samsher Khan (18). Police are also questioning the minor involved in the attack.
The investigation is still ongoing, and authorities are working to gather more details about the incident.
