Two Teenage Boys Drown in Mohgaon Zilpi Lake
Nagpur, India: A tragic incident unfolded on October 12 when two 14-year-old boys drowned in Mohgaon Zilpi Lake, located within the Hingna Police Station jurisdiction. The victims, Virsen Vithoba Gajbhiye, who lived at Plot No. 4 in Old Wasti, Dighori, and Gaurav Liladhar Burde from Ramna Maroti Nagar, Nandanwan, were among a group of 7 to 8 friends who had gone out for a walk.
While swimming in the reservoir, both Virsen and Gaurav lost their footing and drowned. Local residents quickly came to their aid and were able to recover their bodies from the water.
After the incident, the boys’ parents, Vithoba Manik Gajbhiye, 52, filed a complaint at the Hingna Police Station. Sub-Inspector D. Sarwar registered an accidental death report based on the information provided. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is currently underway.
