VIDA is set to expand in 100 more cities

Hero MotoCorp, the largest producer of motorcycles and scooters in the world, is preparing to extend its activities in the nation through its developing mobility brand, VIDA, Powered by Hero. Within this calendar year 2023, VIDA intends to expand its presence to 100 cities. It will quickly expand its operations across the nation using Hero MotoCorp's massive dealer network. Eight other cities have already been added to the development plan.

New VIDA V1 pricing will be used to support the expansion plans. The revised rate will apply to all future client transactions and new reservations. The new prices for the VIDA V1 Plus and VIDA V1 Pro are Rs. 119,900 and Rs. 139,900, respectively. These costs will increase the product's accessibility to a wider range of client segments and may hasten the scooter industry's transition to electric scooters.

Dr. Swadesh Srivastava, Head of Hero MotoCorp's Emerging Mobility Business Unit (EMBU) states, "We are prepared for a quick development of VIDA across the country in accordance with our aim to democratise green mobility and hasten the growth of the electric vehicle (EV) category. To expand operations to 100 cities, we will make use of Hero MotoCorp's current network strength. We are certain that our new price points will entice more people to explore the world-class 'Worry Free EV Ecosystem' offered by VIDA and the EV scooter category". In keeping with our commitment to providing excellent customer service, we will also offer the pricing benefit to current VIDA V1 clients.

Currently, VIDA has pop-up stores in Delhi as well as Experience Centres in Bengaluru and Jaipur as part of its digital-first, omnichannel strategy. For public use, VIDA has installed over 300 recharge stations at 50 places throughout the three original cities. The charging environment will soon be extended to the additional cities as well. The network will be spread out across important sites to maximise customer convenience. Users can charge their scooter's battery at 1.2 km/min thanks to VIDA's fast charging network.
