Vidaamuyarchi Box Office Collection Day 14: Ajith Kumar’s Film Earns ₹133.75 Crore
Ajith Kumar’s Tamil action thriller Vidaamuyarchi has collected ₹133.75 crore worldwide in 14 days. Out of this, ₹93.75 crore came from India and ₹40 crore from overseas. However, the movie’s earnings dropped by 6.67% on Day 14 compared to the previous day.
The film had a strong start, earning ₹26 crore on its opening day on 6th February. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Vidaamuyarchi earned ₹50 lakh in India on Day 14, slightly lower than ₹36 lakh on Tuesday and ₹50 lakh on Monday.
By the end of two weeks, the movie’s total collection in India reached ₹79.35 crore, with ₹77.38 crore from the Tamil version and ₹2 crore from the Telugu version. The earnings in the second week were much lower than in the first week when the film collected ₹72.75 crore.
About the Movie
Vidaamuyarchi is a remake of the 1997 American film Breakdown. It tells the story of Arjun (played by Ajith Kumar), who goes on a dangerous mission to rescue his wife, Kayal (Trisha Krishnan), after she is kidnapped in Azerbaijan. Despite the drop in earnings, the film continues to run in theatres and attract audiences.
