Vidarbha Enhances Healthcare Services with New Government Medical Colleges

Vidarbha, Amravati, Gadchiroli, India: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has virtually inaugurated Government Medical Colleges in Amravati, Bhandara, and Gadchiroli. A Government Medical College will be established in Mauje Aliyabad on Kondeshwar Road.

Admissions will be offered to 100 qualified students through an online process. Union Health Minister JP Nadda, Governor CP Radhakrishnan, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, Food and Drug Administration Minister Dharmarao Baba Atram, and State Medical Education Minister Hasan Mushrif will participate in the program virtually.

A special event has been organized in Aliyabad featuring Dr. Anil Bonde, a Rajya Sabha member, as well as MLAs Ravi Rana and Navneet Rana, former MP, and leaders from Mahayuti. The event is being coordinated by MLA Ravi Rana. A big screen has been installed for attendees to watch the online program.

In Bhandara, the inauguration of the new Government Medical College, managed by the Directorate of Medical Education and Pharmaceuticals Department and Medical Education and Research in Mumbai, will take place virtually at Nijjan Bhawan. Guardian Minister Dr. Vijaykumar Gavit and Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Tanaji Sawant will be the key attendees.

Rajya Sabha Member Praful Patel, Lok Sabha Member Dr. Prashant Padole, MLAs Parinay Phuke, Abhijit Vanjari, Sudhakar Adbale, Nana Patole, Narendra Bhondekar, Raju Karemore, and Zilla Parishad President Gangadhar Jivkate will also be present.

In Gadchiroli, the program will be broadcast live from Nejyojan Bhavan at the Collectorate. According to Dr. Avinash Tekade, Dean of the Medical College, numerous public representatives will attend the inauguration of the medical college.
