From Roads to Drainage: Vikas Thakre Vows to Keep Building a Better Nagpur West
Nagpur, India: Despite facing personal challenges, I remained dedicated to addressing the issues of civic amenities and stayed connected with the people of Nagpur West, ensuring that their concerns were always a priority. Unlike many leaders who disconnect after elections, I maintained my commitment to serving and engaging with the community.
Congress Mahavikas Aghadi candidate MLA Vikas Thakre expressed his belief that the voters of Nagpur West will support and choose us once again in this election. MLA Vikas Thakre took to the streets in a foot march to connect with the people of West Nagpur. At Gorewada Chowk, he emphasized his efforts in the Legislative Assembly to address the region’s development issues and the problem of unauthorized layouts. He also pointed out that his team was dedicated to providing continuous, 24-hour service to the citizens, much like the convenience of an ATM.
In the future, we plan to finish the drainage project by identifying areas where water collects and addressing those issues. We will construct new drains, upgrade the existing ones, and carry out all necessary improvements.
Vikas Thakre mentioned that during his tenure, several new roads were constructed, and numerous projects, including beautification and improvements to the water supply, were successfully completed.
The Jan Aashirvad Yatra commenced on November 15 from J. K. House Ring Road Chowk and concluded at Shitla Mata Temple in Gorewada, passing through locations such as Shriram Chowk, Utthan Nagar Buddha Vihar, Savana Lawn, Gorewada Chhath Puja Ghat, Gorewada Vasti, Madhav Nagar, Nittal School, Eros Society, Nataraj Nagar, Shiv Mandir, and Prem Seva Buddha Vihar Gorewada along the way.
