Wardha Police Arrest 23-Year-Old Vehicle Thief During Routine Patrol
Wardha, Nagur: A vehicle thief was arrested by Crime Branch Unit 5 officials in Wardha city after they received reliable information during their routine patrol. The incident took place around 4:00 PM when the police were conducting checks near the District Hospital in Mankapur.
The officers spotted a suspicious individual riding a Hero Honda motorcycle (MH 32 U 9674). They stopped the vehicle and questioned the rider, later identified as 23-year-old Mayur Gajanan Nakade, a resident of Wardha. Initially, Nakade gave vague responses, but upon further questioning, he admitted to stealing the motorcycle from in front of the Post Office in Wardha city.
The stolen motorcycle, valued at approximately ₹50,000, was seized from Nakade. He was arrested and handed over to the Wardha city police for further investigation and legal proceedings.
This successful operation was conducted under the supervision of Police Commissioner Ravindra Kumar Singh, Joint Police Commissioner Nisar Tamboli, and other senior officers, with the team led by Rahul Shire.
