“Will Blow Up His Car”: Chilling Threat Sent to Salman Khan via WhatsApp
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has received a new death threat via WhatsApp, warning that his car will be blown up with a bomb and someone will enter his Bandra home.
The message was sent to the Mumbai Transport Department's WhatsApp number in Worli. Police immediately registered a case at Worli police station and have started an investigation to find out who sent the message and whether it is serious.
So far, it is not clear who is behind the threat, but actor Salman Khan has been targeted before by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang. Bishnoi has held a grudge against Khan since the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, as the blackbuck is considered sacred by his community.
In response to the repeated threats, Salman Khan has been given strong security. Bulletproof glass has also been installed in his home. During a recent media interaction, Khan said, “God decides how long we live. Sometimes, the only problem is having to move around with so many people for security.”
The police are taking the matter seriously and are continuing their investigation to ensure the actor's safety.
