Woman, 6-Year-Old Granddaughter Injured in Ganeshpeth Road Accident

Nagpur, India: A woman and her 6-year-old granddaughter were injured after being hit by a speeding car near Jadhav Square in Ganeshpeth.
The victims, Sulochana Ashok Nagdevate (55) and Ojasvi (6), had arrived in Nagpur from Sindewahi with Sulochana’s 12-year-old grandson, Raj. Around 1:30 pm on Monday, they were waiting at Jadhav Square for a bus to Jaitala when a car (MH-49/CL-4884) hit Sulochana and Ojasvi, dragging them a short distance.
Local people rushed to help them. The car was driven by Sneha Shrihari Chaudhary (35), a resident of Shanti Nagar. After the accident, Sneha called her relatives, who took the injured to a private hospital. They received treatment and were later discharged.
Sulochana later filed a complaint at the Ganeshpeth police station. The police have registered a case and started an investigation.
