Woman Found Murdered in Hudkeshwar, Post-Mortem Confirms Sexual Assault

Nagpur: A 33-year-old woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances at her residence in Hudkeshwar, sending shockwaves through the locality. Initial reports indicated that blood was seen oozing from her ears, raising concerns of foul play.
According to the police, Rajesh Prakash Khobragade (34), a resident of Hudkeshwar Khurd, lodged the first complaint. Initially, the case was registered as an accidental death. However, due to the suspicious nature of the incident, a post-mortem examination was conducted.
The provisional autopsy report confirmed that the woman had been sexually assaulted and strangulated. Following these findings, the police registered an FIR under Sections 103(1) and 64 of the IPC, 2023, against an unidentified suspect.
The deceased lived with her husband, Mandeep Singh Charanjitsingh Saluja (33), and their 10-year-old daughter. At the time of the incident, her husband worked as a waiter, while their daughter was at school. The crime came to light when the daughter returned home and found her mother unconscious and bleeding.
A police investigation is underway to identify and apprehend the perpetrator. Authorities have urged residents to remain vigilant as forensic teams gather further evidence in the case.
