Asanas, or yoga poses, are excellent for improving strength, flexibility, and general well-being. They can also significantly increase metabolic rate and help with weight management.

According to experts, you can support a healthy weight, burn calories, and increase your body's metabolic processes by adding particular asanas into your regimen.

The founder of Akshar Yoga Kendraa, Himalayan Siddhaa Akshar, offered some useful asanas that can help achieve this objective:

1. Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation)- is a dynamic series of postures that work your entire body, stimulating various muscle groups and raising your heart rate.

2. Chaturanga Dandasana (Plank Pose)- is an effective asana that works every muscle group in your body, especially the arms, legs, and core. 

3. Virabhadrasana (Warrior Poses)- Warriors poses like Virabhadrasana I, II, and III test your strength in your lower body and strengthen your core. Lean muscle mass can be developed with these stances.

4. Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose)- By focusing on your abdominal muscles, this backbend pose increases metabolism and aids with digestion.

5. Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward-Facing Dog Pose)- Your arms, shoulders, legs, and core are among the many muscle groups that are worked in this inversion stance. Your body becomes stronger, and it also facilitates improved circulation.

6. Navasana (Boat Pose)- his difficult pose works the muscles in your abdomen, strengthening your core and encouraging improved posture. 

7. Halasana (Plow Pose)- This pose is inverted and stimulates the thyroid gland, an important gland that controls metabolism. It also tones and stretches the muscles in the abdomen.
