Young man Killed in Motorbike Accident at Tirodi Bridge
Nagpur, India- In a tragic incident on Friday afternoon, a young motorbike rider lost his life after crashing into a stationary truck on Tirodi bridge, located on the outer ring road in the Wathoda area. The victim, identified as Rakesh Bandu Shende, 26, was a resident of Mundhari, Mohadi taluka, Bhandara district.
The accident occurred around 1.15 pm when Rakesh, riding his Hero Splendor bike (MH-40/LV-0990) at high speed, lost control and collided with a stationary truck (RJ-11/GB-6354) on the bridge. The impact of the collision left Rakesh with severe injuries. Despite being rushed to the Government Medical College & Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries enroute.
Following the incident, Wathoda Police took the truck driver, Miyaz Mohammad Anwar, 44, into custody. Anwar, hailing from Hasanpur, district Nuh, Haryana, is accused of parking his truck haphazardly on the bridge, leading to the tragic accident. A case has been registered against him under Section 304(A) of the Indian Penal Code for causing death by negligence.
