Young Woman Raped by Criminal Under False Marriage Promise
Nagpur, India: A young woman has been allegedly raped by a known criminal, Roshan Sheikh, who promised to marry her. The police arrested Roshan and charged him with rape and extortion. After the case was reported, some of Roshan's friends began threatening the victim.
Roshan has a history of serious crimes, including rape and kidnapping. He was previously in jail but was released on bail. The victim, who works in a private company, met Roshan a few months ago.
According to her, the accused took her to a hotel in Dabha and forced himself upon her. When she told him she would go to the police, he attacked her and made threats to harm her.
Fearing for her safety, the woman packed her things and asked for help. Despite the threats from Roshan's associates, she bravely filed a police complaint to seek justice for what happened. Authorities are investigating the case further to ensure justice is served.
