Youth Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident on Kalmeshwar-Nagpur Road
Nagpur, India: A young man, Mukesh Sudhakar Raut, aged 26, was killed in a hit-and-run accident near Fetri Bus Stop on the Kalmeshwar-Nagpur road on Sunday morning. Mukesh was riding his motorcycle with his friend Sameer Kale when a speeding Maruti Swift car hit them.
The crash threw Mukesh off his bike, causing serious head injuries. Sameer, who was riding behind him, hurt his leg badly. Mukesh was rushed to a nearby hospital but sadly died from his injuries. Sameer was sent to Nagpur for further treatment.
Kalmeshwar police have registered a case against the driver of the Swift car, who is believed to have been driving recklessly. The police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
